Sometimes the easiest way to get custom-looking fall decor is to DIY it yourself. Paintable pumpkins are my favorite way to accomplish a unique look. I love that you can re-use and re-paint them over the years too!
In 2020, we lived in a rental and I spent a fair amount of time on the main living and dining room area getting it to reflect my style. It was a blank slate so I used peel-and-stick wallpaper, lighting, draperies and furnishings to personalize the space. A few months after the main design was finished, fall rolled around and I wanted to add a pop of pink through some painted pumpkins.
I still miss this space and wish I could go back and visit. Eventually, I think I will be doing our current TV room in this color-palette though.
