A Blue Boho Bedroom Design

I wanted to create a primary bedroom design that was boho but with some colors we don't always see associated with this style. I started with the leopard wallpaper as a jumping off point. I love Spoonflower products and the options they have-- it's high-end and custom at a fraction of the cost.

I am envisioning this wallpaper pattern on the headboard wall but it could also go all over the room. If you do just one wall, I would probably suggest either a pale gray blue on the other walls or a pale pink paint. If you feel really daring, you could go for a moody navy paint as well. Order samples of the wallpaper in multiple wallpaper textures and message the designer if you need the colors altered at all. I would probably have the leopards made a little more dusty pink like the lamp.

Speaking of the lamps, one on either side of the bed with a nightstand would look fab. The pillows should be a mix of blues, rose and maroon. White or cream would work as well to give your eye a place to breath. I didn't choose sheets but you could go a lot of different directions-- everything from navy to white to a dainty pink pattern. Don't be afraid to purchase items and return them if they don't feel right.

The links are listed below and go from left to right starting in the top left corner. Enjoy!

I may have to get those lamps for myself-- they are so fab and would look great in a variety of styles. Obviously the bed is a dream but I might have to hold off on that one-- #budget.

Happy Designing!
